This is one of the New York's best Chinese restaurants not in Chinatown and it is THE best one on the East side!
It is very rare when an owner of a restaurant stops by a table and asks how a tables dinning experience is going. Yet owner Nancy Lee does this to every single table, every single day. While she may dress like a 1960’s Bangkok Hooker, she is the most friendly and accommodating owner I have ever encountered.
The atmosphere is also incredible with indoor and outdoor seating. There is a live Jazz musician playing most nights.
The food is excellent. I recommend the Pig Butt,Young Chow Friend Rice and Grand Manier Shrimp. My boy Pete says “Best tasting Butt he has ever had”. For an appetizer the Seafood dumplings are also wonderful.
